365 Days of Style

My post on 365 Days of Style – Do You Use A List When Clothing/Accessory Shopping? Why or Why Not?”

Yes and no – I always have a list of items needed by client. And I keep it with me at all times on my iPhone…But great buys and killer pieces are typically found when your not looking for them! So even though I do have a ‘list’ the best purchases are those pieces I didn’t think I was looking for!

The majority of my coolest, style-stopping pieces (of mine and that I have found for my clients) are those that were never on a list and those that just stopped me in my tracks when I came across them.

How Do You Distinguish Between Fashion & Style?

by Tricia Mahoney on January 28, 2011

My post for 365 Days of Style:

How Do You Distinguish Between Fashion & Style?:

Style is what you have.

Fashion is what you wear.

You can be stylish or fashionable.

Think about it…

You don’t wear style….you have it.

And you don’t have fashion….you wear it.

For me this year is all about me! It is my time to be selfish, self-centered and self-promoting!

That said I am going to proudly wear confidence as my BEST accessory! With that I vow to be true to my personal style and what makes me feel truly fabulous. Yes I am going to wear my cool fedoras and berets….my beautiful dresses…not because I am going out on town but because I want to feel special and pretty. 2011 is the year for strength, for happiness and for LOOKING FABULOUS!
